Intermediate Acting - Weekly Scene Study

Available both in person in Los Angeles and worldwide over zoom.

One of the first things we must do in acting is to figure out the purpose of the scene and defining the characters purpose in that scene. This information is then used to begin building a character that serves the script and brings the character to life in a creative, truthful way. This is a weekly on going course where the students chose their scenes and their scene partners. The group will work together to breakdown  the scene.

This class is for students that have completed the Introduction to Acting class, as well as actors who have previous experience either from taking classes or working professionally. Based on your level of experience, we will recommend our intermediate or advanced level class.

For our youth class, we follow the same curriculum, for young actors ages 10-16.

“There’s so much we can achieve on this four week songwriting workshop. I believe everyone who takes part will complete and write at least one song over the month and we will also complete a group co-write.
There’s a certain excitement and enthusiasm that’s palpable within a group like this and songs present themselves that would not show up to individuals at home alone. I will guide, carry and encourage each student through the songwriting process and build them up and their wonderful songs to be... Its a very exciting prospect.”
